La Rocca Creative Cakes is thrilled to have been awarded the prestigious Product of the Year Canada award. Judged on innovation, the Dulce Napoleon Cake won in the Home Gourmet category. The winning products were selected following a national survey of nearly 5,400 Canadian consumers. “The recognizable seal of approval from these consumer-choice awards provides guidance to Canadians faced with so many choices when they shop,” says Sandra Parente, Program Director, Product of the Year.

The masterful pastry chefs at La Rocca Creative Cakes are always creating new products and experimenting with new flavour profiles. Their head pastry chef and cofounder, Marty Givens, travels extensively to experience desserts from around the world and works closely with industry professionals, including their suppliers and other bakers, to gain inspiration. The Dulce Napoleon is a great example of this process.
